Just a few days ago, Kapil had opened a café in Canada called Caps Café, which has now reportedly come under gunfire.
Kapil Sharma, along with his wife Ginni Chatrath, had launched this café after two years of hard work.
The couple was extremely happy with the positive response, as large crowds were turning up to try the café’s coffee and food.
However, reports now say that a firing at Kapil Sharma’s Cafe incident took place at the café shortly after its opening.
Unidentified attackers reportedly targeted the building where Kapil’s café is located and fired multiple rounds.
The assailants arrived in a vehicle, carried out the shooting, and fled the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

According to reports, Harjeet Singh Laddi, an alleged operative of Babbar Khalsa International and one of India’s most wanted terrorists (as per the NIA), has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Babbar Khalsa, officially Babbar Khalsa International (BKI, Punjabi: ਬੱਬਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ, [bəbːəɾ xɑlsɑ]), is a Khalistani militant organisation that aims to create an independent nation-state of Khalistan in the Punjab region.
It has used armed attacks, assassinations and bombings in aid of that goal, and is deemed to be a terrorist entity by various governments.
Besides India, it operates in North America and Europe.
It’s declared Unlawful by the Indian government.
